CKC UMUEZIGWE YOUTH WEEK 2025: A WEEK OF FAITH, FUN, AND FELLOWSHIP
July 20, 2025CKC UMUEZIGWE CELEBRATES JULY BORN
July 27, 2025Easter Sunday at Christ the King Catholic Church (CKC), Umuezigwe was a beautiful and spirit-filled celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The entire church came alive with joy, songs of victory, and thanksgiving to God for the gift of new life.
The celebration began with a powerful Mass, where the church was filled with the sound of Alleluia once again after the quietness of Lent. Everyone came dressed in their best, with bright faces and hearts full of gratitude.
During the homily, the parish priest reminded the congregation that Easter is not just about celebration, but about hope, new beginnings, and the power of God to bring life out of death. He encouraged everyone to leave behind old habits and walk in the light of the risen Christ.

The Mass was followed by joyful singing, dancing, and thanksgiving. The choir led the church in beautiful Easter hymns, and the atmosphere was full of excitement and praise.
Children, youth, and adults all took part in making the day special. After Mass, there were photo sessions, friendly greetings, and even light refreshments shared among members.
For CKC Umuezigwe, Easter Sunday was not just a day it was a reminder that no matter what we face, Jesus has overcome, and we too will rise.

He is risen indeed! Alleluia!
We thank God for a successful celebration and pray that the joy of Easter will remain in our hearts and homes all year long
