Deanery

Christ the King Parish is one of the eighteen catholic churches that make Obowo deanery. Obowo Deanery comprises of catholic parishes in Obowo LGA, Imo state. The Deanery is led by Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Mark Okoro who doubles as the parish priest of Immaculate Heart Catholic Parish, Alike Obowo which is the headquarters of the Deanery. The deanery holds her monthly deanery drives where priests working in the deanery celebrate Sunday masses in other parishes outside their own parish. The Deanery has over thirty priests and numerous male and female religious working in the parishes and schools.
