Mothers are the heart of every home and community, showing love, strength, and care in all they do.

Today, the 30th of March, CKC Umuezigwe joined other Catholic faithful to celebrate Mothering Sunday with joy and gratitude.

Our amazing mothers took part in the service by doing the readings and leading the Prayers of the Faithful. They also shared fruits with everyone, and the church family showed them love and appreciation in return.

Prayers of blessings were made by the priest for our mothers, and the atmosphere was filled with dancing and singing as they danced in honour of God for witnessing another Mother’s Day.

After their thanksgiving, they made sure no one left hungry they invited us all to sit and eat. It was a beautiful moment of togetherness and gratitude.

After the meal, everyone went home to continue their private celebrations.
